This is a ONE DAY workshop. We’ve scheduled ample time to ensure everyone finishes in one day, there is a good chance the workshop may end early.
Saturday September 12th from 9am-3:30pm.
INSTRUCTOR: Leah
LEVEL: Confident Beginner, ages 16+. You should have some recent sewing experience under your belt. If you’ve taken a learn to sew, you are ready for this workshop!
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
In this one day workshop we’ll make the Pleat Top by Alaman Studio.
The Pleat Top is a woven relaxed tee that features a funky asymmetrical drape, pleats, high side slit, boat neck, and dolman sleeves. The shape of this tee gives this top a strong visual impact, while its simple and clean construction make it easy to reach for in your daily wardrobe.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
All fabric, notions, and equipment are provided.
You will receive an A0 (large paper copy) and a digital copy of the pattern at the end of the workshop so you can keep on creating.

SIZING:
This pattern is split into two size ranges, Range I and Range II. It’s recommended you use your bust measurement as your guide when determining your size. If you are between sizes, review the finished garment measurements to determine how much ease/room you’d like your top to have. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help determining your size!
WORKSHOP FABRIC CHOICES: Please see photos below. If this is your first garment project, I recommend choosing a sandwashed cotton or cotton poplin for your project as they are easiest to work and sew with.
Sandwashed cotton poplin, weight: 3.24 OZ
Sandwashed cottons, weight: 4.71 OZ
Mid-weight linen/cotton (55/45) blend: Espresso & Black, weight: 5.16 OZ Cream stripes & Cocoa stripes, weight 5.01 OZ

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full store credit.
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the workshop date will receive a store credit, less the cost of any fabric, printed materials, or supplies prepared for you.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are not eligible for a refund or store credit.
Store credits are valid for 12 months after issued. If a workshop is cancelled, you will receive your choice between a store credit or full refund. Thank you for your understanding and supporting my small business!
