LEVEL: Confident Beginner, ages 16+. You shouldhave some recent sewing experience under your belt. If you’ve taken a Learn to Sew workshop you are ready for this!!

WORKSHOP DETAILS:
In this two-day workshop we’ll make the Ruby Vest by Sydney Graham. For this workshop we will be quilting the entire vest before constructing it!

The Ruby Vest is the ultimate layering piece and is completely reversible. Multiple customization options allow you to truly make the vest of your dreams.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
All fabric, notions, and equipment are provided. You will receive an A0 (large paper copy) and a digital copy of the pattern at the end of the workshop so you can keep on creating.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Quilting 101

  • Patterns 101

  • Cutting techniques 

  • Continuous bias tape

  • Bias bound seams

  • Hardware installation (optionial)

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full store credit. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the workshop date will receive a store credit, less the cost of any fabric, printed materials, or supplies prepared for you. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are not eligible for a refund or store credit. Store credits are valid for 12 months after issued. If a workshop is cancelled, you will receive your choice between a store credit or full refund.

MISSED SESSIONS:
Partial refunds are not available if you can't finish a multi-day workshop.

SIZING: This garment is designed to have a slightly relaxed fit throughout the bust and waist. As opposed to a fitted waistcoat, the Ruby Vest has more of a boxy fit while not being truly oversized. If you want an oversized look or intend to wear your Ruby Vest over large sweaters, we recommend sizing up 1 size. If you want a slimmer fit, size down. You will be asked for your measurments when registering and we will reach out to follow up and confirm sizing after registration.

You will pick and main fabric and a lining fabric for this project!
